Kiana "Kee-Kee" Catoe

Kiana “Kee-Kee” Monchelle Catoe, 27 of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021.

Kiana was born in Atlanta, GA and graduated in the 2012 class of Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School. She played the clarinet in the high school band and also participated in the school color guard. Kiana was a member of The Gathering in Ringgold, GA and dearly loved her church family. She earned her associates degree in Medical Assisting from Virginia University. Kiana was a loving, funny, selfless person, she dedicated her life to family music (especially country and gospel) and chasing her dreams. She was a very caring person and would spend most of her days with her nephew Zaiden and extended niece Elaina watching Disney movies and singing Disney karaoke songs. She also loved going on rides at night to admire the city. She had a love for helping people and being that shoulder people could depend on. Her house was always open to whoever needed a place to stay or a place to just come hang out get their problems off their chest. She made sure that everyone was laughing and smiling at every family function.

Kiana was preceded in death by her parental grandfather, MacArthur Catoe and maternal grandfather, Aaron Mitchell Jett.

Survivors include her mother, Andrea Jett; father, Christopher Catoe; twin sister, Kadizah Catoe; siblings: Christopher Catoe (Taylor), Shamar (Lindsey) Catoe, Aleah Robinson, Simone Bracey, Darius Catoe (Nitzia Suarez), Elise Catoe, Jacob Catoe, Christian Catoe, Nykarea Murray, and Kevin Catoe; paternal grandmother, Corine Catoe; maternal grandmother, Kathy Robinson; aunts and uncles: Stacey (Gordon) Benjamin, Donna (Jeffrey) Fullove, Reginal Borden (Roshonda), Melinda (Deon) Pate, Angela (Pete) Catoe, Phyllis (Dada) Mickle, Alezeania (James) Mitchell, and Eric (Crystal) Catoe; a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family; best friend Logan Beard and her daughters.
