Kimberly “Kim” Ann Patton, 51, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in a local hospital.
Ms. Patton was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on May 26, 1966 and has been a life-long resident of the Fairview Community in Rossville. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1984 and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was a special, loving person who always knew how to brighten someone’s day. She enjoyed visiting nursing homes and making friends. She loved to paint pictures and would often give them to her friends for encouragement. Ms. Patton is preceded in death by her father, Robert Franklin Patton, Sr., her maternal grandparents, Ida & Winnie Stephens and her paternal grandparents, Lester & Ruth Patton.
Survivors include her mother, Shirley Ann Patton, and her brother, Robert F. Patton, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Bennett officiating. Ms. Patton will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Bryant, Alabama.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
