Krechun D. Jackson, 38, of Lafayette passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his residence. He was a native of California and had lived most of his life in Lafayette where he was a 1998 graduate of Lafayette High School. After high school Krechun worked for Roper Corporation, Wright Tree Company, V.W. and EPB. His passions in life were his family, his granddaughter, working on cars, four wheeling, and cooking. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncles, James Montgomery and Brian Jackson; and cousin, Ricky Jackson.
Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Misty Jackson; four daughters, Kelsey Johnson (Kane Kunzelman), Anissha Johnson (Elijah Keown), Markella Johnson, and Mykayla Jackson; granddaughter, Trinity Keown; his granddaughter on-the-way, Eliyanna Keown; aunt, Joyce Montgomery; sisters, Kameka Jackson and Kaneka Murphy; step-dad, James Adams; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
