Larry Ray Hall, Sr.

Mr. Larry Ray Hall, Sr. age 82, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, passed away on October 4, 2021.

Mr. Hall was born in Chattanooga, TN, on June 25, 1939, the son of the late Harry Kinsel Hall and Leiron Rae Baltimore Short. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Hall owned and operated Hall Supply Company. He was a member of Lakeview First Baptist Church. Mr. Hall enjoyed watching his grandchildren play football and baseball, fishing, and talking with his customers. He was an avid Braves and Falcons fan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by a daughter, Larisa Vanoer Cotten and two brothers, Harry K. Hall, Jr. and Ronnie Hall.

Survivors include his wife of fifty six years, Carolyn Hall; son, Ray Hall (Diana); two daughters, Maria Beach and Leah Carter (Jeff); four grandchildren, Larry Hall, III (Jessica), Taylor Hall (Brittany), Desirae House (Jeremy), and Evan Beach; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Alan Hall (Marcy). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 1:00 P.M., Lakeview First Baptist Church with Pastor Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from noon until the funeral hour at Lakeview First Baptist Church.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Mike Storey, Michal Wells, Jeremy House, Evan Beach, Taylor Hall, and Larry Hall, III.
