Larry Kent Lowe “Sissy”, 53, of Ringgold passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017.  Larry had lived most of his life in North Georgia and lived in Alaska for 16 years, where he drove a school bus for over 15 years. Larry was also a truck driver having worked with U.S Express for over 10. Larry was a beloved brother and friend who had a huge heart and an infectious laugh.  He always went out of his way for so many people.  Larry was known for his Pecan and Death by Chocolate pie and was a genius with computers and electronics.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta McNabb; granny, Martha Elizabeth Mathis; grandmother, Martha Jane Thomason; great grandmother, Grace Hicks; and brother-in-law, Brian Eugene Gelnett.

Survivors include his brothers, M. Wayne (Paula) Lowe and V. Scott (Shannon) McNabb; sister, Brenda Gelnett; his fur baby, Miss Martha “Squirt”; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
