Lavonne Sue Byrd

Lavonne Sue Byrd, 71 of East Ridge, left this world riding out on her sweet chariot to her heavenly home.

Lavonne was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN and was a Hoosier at heart. She was married and raised three children there in Indy and then in 1985 moved to the Chattanooga area.

Lavonne was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Byrd; parents, Charles and Anna Cochran; and brother, Norman Cochran.

Survivors include her children: Tim Byrd, Michelle (Francis) Partin, and Anthony (Lynn) Byrd; three grandchildren: Jessica Watkins, Jacob Partin, and Chad Byrd; one great granddaughter, Khloe Bowers; sisters, Darlene Hartloff and Carol Maddex; brother, Harold Cochran all of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 20th, 2021 at 11am with Pastor Nathan Garmany officiating in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
