Leona Foutz, 80 of Rossville, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Foutz was born in Florence, South Carolina, but spent most of her life in the North Georgia area. She loved gardening, canning, cooking, quilting, and scrabble but most of all spending time with her family. Growing up, Mrs. Foutz was a member of Ridge Crest Baptist Church and you could always find her relaxing on her front porch. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy T. Morris and Jack C. Morris; sisters, Mary Ida Teague and Lorena Morris.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Foutz; sons, Terry Foutz and Harold Foutz, Jr.; daughter, Annette Hammill Foutz Forbes; sisters, Martha Jane Forester, Hazel Tucker, and Patricia Kinsey; grandson, Robert Lee Hammill; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held, Monday, December 24th, 2018 at 2pm from the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
