Leroy "Roy" Mount

Leroy “Roy” Mount, 91 of Rock Spring passed away Saturday May 18th, 2019 in a local healthcare facility.

Leroy was born in Scottsboro, AL but lived most of his life in the North Georgia area.  He worked for over 20 years at Brown’s Brothers Construction as a bulldozer operator. In his free time, Leroy enjoyed woodworking and working in his vegetable garden.

Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Mount; son, Barry Mount; granddaughter, Jackie Mount; parents, Wallace Howard and Lydia Mount; and siblings: Hubert, Aubrey, Louise, Wallace, and Tibb.

Survivors include his children: Michael (Tracy) Mount, Greg Mount, Christel (Ronnie) Woodard; brother, Jerry Mount; grandsons, Skylar and Jaden,        5 other grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday May 22nd at 11am in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
