Lester Wall, 89 of Rossville, resided at Senior Village, 300 McFarland Ave. in Rossville for several years, passed away Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 in a local hospital.
Lester was employed as an engineer working with rockets in the Aerospace industry for many years. He worked for Rocketdyne and Lockheed Martin in California. After retiring, he moved to Georgia and being an avid reader and history buff-enjoyed working for Barnes & Noble of Chattanooga. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and was of the Catholic faith.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Leoma Wall; and brother, A. Lamar Wall of Rossville.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law from California: Steve and Stephanie Wall and Mark and Elissa Wall. Daughter, Shelly Wall of Flat Rock, North Carolina. Five grandchildren; one great grandson; and devoted best friend, June Friar.
Lester will be cremated and his ashes will be inurned in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
