Lila Lee Davis, 90 of Rossville, passed away Wednesday June 9th, 2021 in her home.
Lila was born in Chattanooga, TN and was a lifelong resident of Rossville, GA. She graduated from Kirkman High School in the late 1940s. Lila retired from UTC’s bookstore after over 20 years of service and also ran the Westside Voting Precinct. She loved to travel and had been to all 50 states and Europe. Lila was a nurturing and loving woman with an outgoing unique personality. She had a great sense of humor, loved to go shopping, and was always dressed up even if she wasn’t going anywhere. Lila deeply loved her family and always enjoyed having her grandchildren over to swim in the pool. She is loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Lila is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Davis; children: Pam, Steve, and Philip Davis; granddaughter, Sarah Davis Perry; and parents, Herman and Mary Smith.
Survivors include her sons: Timothy (Irene) Davis and John Mark (Sherri) Davis; granddaughters: Tami (Charles) White, Mary Ann (James) Byers, Catherine (Michael) Alford, Amanda Davis, Casey Davis, and Emily Davis; fourteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 14th, 2021 at 11am in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South with Pastor Bill Gardner officiating.
