Linda Sue Curtis, 78 of Rossville went home to our heavenly father and her beloved husband, J.C. Curtis, on Thursday, November 28th, 2019.
Linda was born on July 31, 1941 and lived her whole life in the Rossville, GA area. She was known to most as “Mamaw” and was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Linda loved all her family and friends and anyone she met. She loved her two dogs, Princess and Angel, very much. Linda was a faithful member of Mercy Ridge Church and enjoyed volunteering and helping her church and church family. She loved doing arts and crafts and was always ready for her next family adventure. She had a special love for Elvis and Conway Twitty. Her time on this Earth is now finished but we all know we will see her again soon. She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Linda was preceded in death by her late husband, J.C. Curtis; parents, Hobert and Dolly Parks, and son-in-law Randy Wilson.
Survivors include her children: Kenny (Tonya) Curtis, Tony Curtis, Pam (Jeff) Chisenall, and Lynn Wilson; sister, Yvonne (Troy) Dawson; brother, Terry (Margaret) Parks; and very special friend and sister-in-law, Judy Llewellyn; 9 grandchildren: Kim (Jacob) Warnack, Jimmy Lackey, Heather (Jake) Harris, Tony Ashley (Heather) Curtis, Tiffany (Jason) Lowe, Travis Curtis, Jeramy Curtis, Chris Curtis, and Melinda Curtis; 2 step-grandchildren, Garrett and Josh Chisenall; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday December 1st at 2pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Tim Bailey and Brother James “Junior” Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park
