Linda (Gattis) Meeks

Linda Gattis Meeks, 72 passed away on August 28, 2019 at her residence.  

She was born January 21, 1947 to Howard Gattis and Noma Bryce. Linda enjoyed traveling and Europe was one of her favorite place to go. She was a kind and caring mother, grandmother, and showed her love to everyone she would meet. She Linda was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended Aquinas College in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Philips and son John Leo Meeks.

Survivors include daughters, Brigid Meeks, grandsons, William Meeks, Jacob Meeks great granddaughter, Kaylee Rose Meeks. Linda’s extended family include Katie, Josh, Branden Motley, Levi, and Hazel Guthrie.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1:00p.m. in the Grand Center Baptist Church Cemetery in Chickamauga, GA. 1753 Grand Center Road Chickamauga, GA 30707.  

Arrangements are by South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
