Linda D. Turnipseed

Linda D. Turnipseed, 70, of Rock Spring, GA passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at her home.  She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where she worked at the Ft. Oglethorpe Walmart Deli until her retirement in 2006.  Linda was a spiritual person who loved spending time with her family, cooking, and talking on the phone.  She also enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, loved her cats, flowers, watching animal shows, and she loved sea life. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Turnipseed; mother, Betty Minnis; sisters, Elsie Hunter and Ruth Newman; grandmother, Mary Keef.

Survivors include her children, Wanda (Douglas Gaskill) Smith, Betty (Rick) Wade, David Henegar, and Joey (Janice) Turnipseed; brother, Ronald (Louett) Howard; sister, Mary Boyd; grandchildren, Kristen, Joshua, Christopher, Branden, Eric, Jacob, and Jordyn; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Due the Pandemic a private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an Animal Shelter of your choice.
