Lloyd P. Harmon, Sr., 80, of Rossville, GA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 12, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. Mr. Harmon was a native of Maryland and had lived most of his life in North Georgia. He was a United States Navy Veteran having served during Vietnam. He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in East Ridge and the American Legion. Mr. Harmon was an over the road truck driver by, retiring in 1985, having worked for ETW&C Trucking, Associate Freight, and Conoco Oil. Mr. Harmon loved life. He loved spending time with his family, loved going to church, operating his H.A.M. Radio, and seeing the country throughout his trucking career.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Teter.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sandra Harmon; three children, Kimberly Lynn Hart (Bobby), Lloyd P. Harmon, Jr. “Ricky” (Tammie), and Sharon LaJean Bailey (Jeff); two sisters, Harlene Albert (John) and Dainese Harmon; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 16th at 12 noon at Lakewood South Memory Gardens with Reverend Bill Liekliter officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
