Lucille Adcox Allen, 93 of Flintstone, GA passed away on January 2, 2021 in a local hospital.
Lucille was born in Dora, AL but lived most of her life in Flintstone, GA. She was of the Christian faith and a dedicated member of Simpson United Methodist Church. Lucille was also a matron with the Eastern Stars for over 25years and a member of the PTA with Chattanooga Valley Elementary School. Lucille enjoyed traveling, being a hostess for her friends and family, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was well loved by her church family and her neighborhood community.
Lucille was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Adcox; parents, William and Mary Levan; daughter, Lynda Daniel; granddaughter, Deedy Bailiff; and brothers: Lawrence, Iva, and Elbert Levan.
Survivors include her husband, James Calvin Allen, who survived her for two days before joining her in heaven; son, Jack Adcox, Jr.; sister, Dorothy Gilbert; granddaughter, Lisa (Adam) Crowley; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 at 11am in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
