Marcella Alyne (Carlock) Lankford

Marcella “Mook” Carlock Lankford, 76, of the Burning Bush Community, Ringgold, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019.  She was a lifelong resident of Burning Bush.  Marcella was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lestol and Bernice Carlock; brothers, Lamar and Harvey Carlock; and husband, Charles Lankford.

Survivors are daughters, Melissa (Ricky) Yarborough, Darlene (Steve Davis) Lybrand, Susan Webb (Greg) Smith; loving sister, Patsy Cannon; grandchildren, Christina (Pat) Wildfire, Daniel Yarborough, Lauren (Seth) Sparks, Nicole Lybrand, Hannah Ginn and Bailee Smith; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a gathering of friends Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 2-4 at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
