Margaret (Shell) Decker

Margaret S. Decker, 93, of East Ridge, passed away in a local hospital.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Toria Shell; husband, Carl Decker; and son, Charles Evans.

Margaret was a realtor in the Chattanooga area for many years and retired from Jim Walter Homes.  She was an avid traveler with her family and friends, especially taking trips to Tunica, Cherokee and Las Vegas.  She will be dearly missed.  If you knew Margaret, you loved her.

Survivors are daughters, Margaret Sims and Susan Pike; granddaughters Michelle, Stacey, Shannon and Carla; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Chaplain Ricky Vaughn of Amedysis Hospice officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chattanooga Food Bank in memory of Margaret Decker.

The family will receive friends from 11 until 1:30 Friday at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge.
