Margaret M. Myers, 81 of East Ridge, TN passed away, Wednesday September 21st, 2022.
Margaret was born and raised in the Chattanooga area and graduated from Central High School. She was a member of the Girl Scouts as a child and actively supported the local troops as well as her grandchildren’s participation in the Scouts. Margaret worked as the Office Manager for Mynatt Dental Labs for 20 years until opening her own business. She was the owner and operator of Myers Upholstery for upwards of 30 years and had her work published in Southern Living Magazine. Margaret supported the Community Kitchen, Salvation Army, and even cooked meals for the homeless. She was always willing to help and never asked for anything in return. Margaret was a hardworking, responsible, dedicated, selfless, and generous woman. She was the embodiment of grace and humility. Margaret was passionate about her family and greatly enjoyed hosting them at her house for family meals. She is affectionately known as “Granna” by many and is dearly loved.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Myers; parents, Amos and Lucille Morgan; siblings, Larry Smith and Ann Smith; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Ann Williams; sister-in-law, Barbara Moore; and niece, Vicki Moore.
Survivors include her sons, Rick Williams and Mark (Cindia) Williams; step-son, Paul E. (Denise) Myers, Jr.; grandchildren: Shannon (Jack) Rairden, Crystal (Jonathon) King, Candice (Matt) Dale, Jeffrey Mimbs, Monica Mimbs, Sinnamon Williams, Grace Williams, Josh and Jordan Myers; brothers, Freddie Moore and Buddy (Jean) Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at 11am in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Gary Clark officiating.
