Margarete Ann Parks

Margarete Ann Parks, 72 of Rossville, passed away Thursday, March 18th, 2021 in her home.

Margarete was born and raised in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and attended Chattanooga Valley High School. She worked for Chattem Chemicals Inc. in data entry for many years, but her passion in life was photography. Margarete loved to take photos and was a talented photographer for many different race tracks in the Southeastern United States. She enjoyed riding four wheelers, racing Jeeps, water skiing, boat riding, and doing all kinds of crafts. Margarete never met a stranger and no matter where she went, she always ran into someone she knew.

Margarete was preceded in death by her parents, Lake and Frances Forester; sister, Nancy Stockdale; grandson, Christopher Phillip Rice; and nephew, Colby Bearden.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Parks; daughter, Tammy (Tommy) Brickley; granddaughter, Hollie (Vann) Thompson; great grandson, Gunnar Van-Lake Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at 11am in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South with Junior Curtis officiating.
