Marvin Lee "Smooth" Foster

Marvin Foster “Smooth”, 57 of Rossville, GA passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at a local hospital.  Mr. Foster was a native of Atlanta, he attended the Atlanta Public School System, and he was a self-employed contractor for many years.  Mr. Foster never met a stranger and he received great pleasure in helping others and showing sincere love.  He enjoyed laughing, having a good time, and playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Lois Foster; and three siblings, Rocky Foster, Carl Foster, and Antonio Moreland.

Survivors include his brother, Bennie Foster, Jr.; sister, Debbie (Alvin) Bass; fiancé and best friend, Sherrie “Straw” Glenn; niece, Shandra B. (Antonio) Thomas; nephews, Tyler (Shayla) Bass and Vinson Bass; 6 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
