Mary Helen Edwards

Helen Ferguson Edwards, 91 of Chattanooga died Friday June 22, at the home of her granddaughter Tina Long in Cookeville, where she had lived for the past two years.

She is preceded in death by her husband’s, Cotton Ferguson and Myron Edwards, a son Gene Ferguson, grandson Ben Ferguson and daughter-in-law Brenda Ferguson

She is survived by her son Tommy Ferguson, two sisters Juanita Porter and Lorene Owen. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, June 26th at 1:30 pm, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
