Mary Ann Evans, 77, of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Evans was a member of the former Clifton Hills Baptist Church, was employed with Standard Coosa-Thatcher for 29 years, and with the Mountain City Club for 13 years.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and helping others.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Mary Lou Boatwright, brother, George Wilmer Boatwright, Jr., and sister, Wilma Jean Gray.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, J.C. Evans; son, Gary Wayne Evans, Bryant, AL; brothers, Charles & Vencie Boatwright, Sarasota, FL, Aubrey & Carol Boatwright, Irvin Boatwright, and James & Delores Boatwright, all of Rossville; sisters, Estelle Sechler & Ruby Pierce, of Rossville; special daughter, Debbie Grant; special granddaughter, Lauren Jenkins.

Services will be held Friday, February 23rd at 6:00 p.m. at South Seminole Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Boatwright & Rev. Drew Tankersley officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the church, located at 1201 South Seminole Drive, Chattanooga.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
