Mary Hodge, 80 of Rossville, passed away Thursday, November 14th, 2019 in a local hospital.
Mary was born in Chattanooga and lived most of her life in the Rossville area. She graduated in the 1956 class of Central High School and was a member of Glory Road Baptist Church. Mary worked at several different carpet mills, Duracell battery, and worked for over 10 years at the Deli in Rainbow Food Market that she and her husband owned. She loved to read, plant flowers, cook, and take care of her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Pauline Morgan; infant daughter, Frances Renee Hodge; son, Terry Hodge; and sister, JoAnne Vandergriff.
Survivors include her husband of almost 63 years, Grady Hodge; children, Curtis (Jewell) Hodge and Rita Harrison; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 17th at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel with Richard Kennett and Gary Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
