Mary Louise Evans

Mary Louise Evans, 91 of Rossville, GA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1st 2021.

Mary was born on July 6, 1929 in Cartersville, GA and married Charles H. Evans, Jr. on November 15, 1947. She was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church of Ringgold, GA and enjoyed singing in the choir. Mary was famous for her homemade biscuits, she was a friend to everyone she met, and enjoyed eating watermelon and tomatoes.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Evans, Jr.; parents, Lewis T. Clark and Beulah Mae Arp; two brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include her sons: Ronald Evans of Chickamauga, GA, Lamar Evans of Rossville, GA, and Harlin Evans, of Ringgold, GA; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 4th, 2021 at 2pm in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Eric Greeson officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
