Mary Scott

Mary Kathleen Scott, 87 of Rossville, passed away Monday, October 11th, 2021 in a local healthcare facility.

Mary was born in Ider, AL, and graduated in the 1953 class of Rossville High School. She was of the Baptist faith and retired after many years in the textile industry. Mary loved cats and dogs, going fishing, watching western movies on tv, and reading John Grisham novels. She was a hard working, tough, opinionated, and honest woman who was proud of raising three boys.

Mary was preceded in death by her sons, Alan Scott and Brian Scott; and parents, Gladston and Eunice Beaty.

Survivors include her son, Steve (Brenda) Scott; grandchildren: Josh, David, Daniel, Mia, Bridggett, and Brandy; several great grandchildren; brother, Euel (Carolyn) Beaty; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 3-6pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
