Mary Katherine (Stewart) Terrell

Mary Terrell, 81, of Rossville, GA went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 16, 2020. She was native of Chattanooga and had lived in the North Georgia area for the past 16 years. Her passions in life were sewing, quilting and reading.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Hill Ricketts; her father who was a decorated World War II Veteran and step mother, Lawrence and Betty Stewart; and brother, Lawrence “Sonny” Stewart, Jr.

Survivors include 5 children, Gordon “Butch” Perkins, Gayla (Tim) Moon, Carol “Candy” Crawford, Gene Hinton and Blaine Hinton; sister, Carolyn (Byron) Adams; brother, Larry Stewart; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 pm in the South Crest Chapel with Byron Adams officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1pm until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
