Mary Blaylock “Nana”, 91, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.  She had lived most of her life in north Georgia, attended the Lake Drive Baptist Church in Sale Creek for several years, and was a current member of the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church.  Her passion in life was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charlie “C.E.” Blaylock; sisters, Kathleen Guest, Drew Wood, Peggy Blair, Sammie Wilder, Betty Nix, and Martha Durham; brothers, Kenneth, J.C., Bud, and Woodrow Durham.

Survivors include her children, Gary “Charmian” Blaylock, Gail “Cloyd” Bell, Brenda Linderman, and Lynn “Stuart” Shankles; sister, Phoebe Massengale; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor David Haynes officiating.

Interment will be in the TN-GA Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00p.m. until the funeral at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
