Maurice Benjamin Miller

Maurice Benjamin Miller, 86, Ringgold, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019.  He was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and choir director.  Mr. Miller was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James G. and Grace B. Miller; and sister, Dolores Miller.

Survivors are his wife, Beverly Dawn Miller; daughter, Sheila (Wayne) Saunders; son Michael (Susan) Miller; grandchildren, Phillip (Tamara) Langston Jr., Michael Miller Jr., Lauren (Keith) Huckabee, and Jenna Miller; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. James Langston and Rev. Willis Shankles officiating.  Interment in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Langston Jr., Michael Miller Jr., Keith Huckabee, Josiah Langston, Kevin O’Malley and Mike Daniel.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge.
