Melanie Marie Hartline

Melanie Marie Torbett Hartline, 52 of Ringgold, passed away Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 in a local hospital.

Melanie was born and raised in the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. She attended Lakeview High School and worked for Lifetouch Inc. for several years. Melanie loved life! She was always ready to go anywhere whether that be to the grocery store or on a cruise. Melanie especially loved going to the beach, Siesta Key, FL was her happy place. She loved food, baking, crafting, and doing anything “artsy.” Melanie was a lot of fun, very outgoing, and will be remembered for her joyful spirit.

Melanie was preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Dorothy Torbett; and son, Anthony Farris.

Survivors include her sisters: Teresa (Bill) Mantooth and Ronda (Jerry) Redmon; children: Felicia Terry, Amanda Hartline, Rickey Hartline, Jr., and Sara (Casey) Norris; grandchildren: Lily Norris, Gage Norris, and Phoenix Terry; aunt, Vivian Miles; cousins, Gloria Chambers and Gene Miles; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 from 2-7pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
