Michael “Mickey” Bell, 63 of Ooltewah passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born in Panama City, Florida and lived in Rossville for many years graduating from Rossville High School in 1976.  He lived in Chattanooga for the past 23 years. Mickey had served on the board with the American Cancer Society and was a member of the Tompkins Lodge 466 F & AM.  Mickey had worked in the grocery business for many years of his career where he was the Store Manager at Red Food Store in Rossville, Food Max in Ft. Oglethorpe, Win Dixie in St. Elmo, and Food Lion in Cleveland.  He also was a Supervisor at DuPont and was currently employed as a Supervisor with Volkswagen in Chattanooga.  Mickey loved his family dearly and enjoyed their trips to the beach in Florida.  He also loved golfing, fishing, and deer hunting.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Lee Bell; parents, Bobbie and Ronnie Bell; and sister, Rhonda Joan Bell Petty.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Bell; daughters, Courtlyn Paige Page and Chandler Ison; brother, Ron Bell; his fur baby, Bella Bell; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 3:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with his brother-in-law, Jon Chadwick officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-3p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
