Mildred "Jackie" (Stewart) Childress

Mildred “Jackie” Childress, 86 of Rossville, GA passed away Wednesday, April 27th, 2022.

Jackie was born and raised in the Chattanooga, TN area and was a member of Rock Spring Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked for over 20 years as a home health nurse and loved her patients dearly. Jackie enjoyed painting and going rafting in her free time. She was a lovable, funny, firecracker and will be dearly missed.

Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Childress; daughter, Charlotte Hurt; son-in-law, Michael Hurt; and daughter, Renee Graves.

Survivors include her daughter, Celeste (Mitchell) Ashley; son-in-law, Randy Graves; grandchildren, Charlie Ramey and Joseph Ashley; great grandchildren: Madison and Makenna Ashley, Jackie and Samantha Ramey.
