Nell (Garner) Crofts

Nellie “Nell” Lois Garner Crofts, 95 of Rossville, GA passed away Friday, February 19th, 2021 in a local hospital.

Nell was born in Cherokee County, AL and lived in Rossville, GA for many years. She attended Resaca School and was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. Nell enjoyed gardening, coin collecting, and doing crossword puzzles.

Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Garland Crofts; parents, George H. and Lois Pearl Garner; brothers, George Earl Garner and Jerry Lamar Garner; sister, Mary Garner Wasdin; son, Joe Fred McCain; and daughter, Beverly Dianne Patterson.

Survivors include her children: Robert (Susan) McCain, Betty Baggett, Clifford (Pam) Crofts, Edith Rebecca “Becky” Crofts; siblings: Louise Taylor, Betty Cochran, Billy Joe Garner, Marvin Garner, Margie Dickey; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends; and special friend, Heidi Johnston.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 at 1pm with Reverend Angela Waltrip officiating in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
