Patricia “Pitty” Leigh, 81, of Ringgold passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at her residence. She had lived most of her life in the North Georgia area where she was a 1957 graduate of Rossville High School. Patricia retired in 2009 from Caldwell Banker Kinard Reality as a Real Estate agent with over 25 years of service and a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church. She was always involved with her children working at their schools, volunteering with the PTO, and serving as a Girl Scout Leader. Her passions in life were her family, children, and grandchildren. Patricia was a joyful lady who always welcomed others into her home. She was loving, kind hearted, Joyous and compassionate. She was also strong, whimsical, and perfect in the eyes of her family. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Stewart; and mother, Laura Mae Reese.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Joel “Gene” Leigh, Jr.; three children, Teresa (Gary) Evans of Harrison, Joy (Mark) Holland of Ringgold, and Joel Leigh, III (Trish) of Rossville; two sisters, Carolyn Cross and Brenda Starr (Gary) Cross; brother, Fred (Sharon) Stewart, Jr.; grandchildren, Brad Hufstetler, Eric Hufstetler, Katie (Mark) Creighton, Leigha (Justin) Hooks, Chase (Savannah) Holland, Joel (Kendyll) Leigh, IV, Barry (Jennifer) Evans, Jarrett Stockman, and Kyle Stockman; great grandchildren, Kayden Holland, Emmitt Hooks, Olivia Hooks, Elijah Hooks, Charles Hooks, Peyton Robinson, Brenley Evans, Auburn Stockman, and Colbie Stockman; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 3:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend David Cox officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8p.m. and Saturday from 1-3p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
