Pauline Beatrice Hargraves, 87, of Rossville went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 28, 2020. She was born in Wymington England in 1933, not far from London. It was there she witnessed death, destruction, and fear of World War II from 1939-1945. During this time she had the tragic loss of her father, Private Gunner Frederick Bamford who was lost at sea while serving in the British Royal Navy. She traveled to the United States when she was fourteen years old. At age seventeen she met and married her husband of 70 years, Robert R. Hargraves. She was the loving mother of three children, David Hargraves, Donna Barrett, and Rodney Hargraves.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Bamford; mother, Florence Parrish; step-father, Frank Parrish; and brother, Brian Parrish.
Survivors include her sons, David (Donna) Hargraves and Rodney (Stephanie) Hargraves; daughter, Donna (Jerry) Barrett; two beautiful granddaughters, Jenna Barrett and Savannah Hargraves; brother, Raymond (Lillian) Parrish; many nieces and nephews; and she cherished her friendship with Barbara German and Ginger Greene as well as countless others from Scott Memorial Church of God.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Jim Bennett officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
