Peggy (Burrows) Scheivelhud

Peggy Burrows Scheivelhud, 78 of La Fayette, went to her Eternal resting place on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020.

Peggy was born in Flintstone, GA and was raised most of her life in the North Georgia and Chattanooga areas. She graduated from Lakeview High School and was a loving and dedicated wife for 60 years. Peggy loved family gatherings and taking care of her dogs, working in her flower gardens, quilting, crafting, and watching hummingbirds; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Burrows and Virgie Ford Goodrich.

Survivors include her husband, Russell L. Scheivelhud; siblings: James E. Hale, Billy (Margaret) Burrows, Mary Hawkins, Lois Cagle, James F. Burrows, Laura Thorn, and Micky (Rita) Burrows; friends, Rick (Phyllis) Potts and Grady (Yvonne) Bingham; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private interment will be held in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
