Phillip Plank, 67, of Rossville passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at a local hospital. Mr. Plank was a lifelong resident of the Signal Mountain and Rossville areas. He retired in 2017 from Tenn Rand as a machinist with over 25 years of service. Mr. Plank was a loving husband who loved his family, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and was a handyman who could fix anything. He enjoyed dirt track racing, drag racing, and tinkering with his remote control cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dalphine Plank.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Barbara Plank; three children, Phillip Plank, Jr. (Tara) of Charleston, SC, Gary Plank (Toria) of Tunnel Hill, GA, and Gayle Lofty (T.J.) of Ringgold, GA; four sisters, Edna Ridge, Pauline Milligan, Charlotte Lane, and Patsy Plank; five grandchildren, Cameron Lofty, Kyle Plank, Brianna Lofty, Elijah Plank, and Aiden Plank; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Eddie White officiating.
Interment will follow in the TN-GA Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8p.m. and Saturday from 1:00p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville
