Pratul J. Parekh

Pratul Parekh, 68, of the East Brainerd Community passed away, Monday, March 20, 2023 at a local hospital.  He was a native of India, had lived in the United States for over 45 years, and the past 23 years in Chattanooga.  Mr. Parekh was a businessman who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and he also was known for his caring demeanor who would always lend a helping hand.  He loved to cook and his favorite was Italian Food.  Mr. Parekh enjoyed the family trips to the beach as well as the get togethers with family and friends where he served as the bartender.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jayvant Parekh.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Darshna Parekh; two children Anuj Parekh and Geet (Prashant) Kher; mother, Urmila Parekh; brother, Prashant (Meenu) Parekh; two grandchildren, Kush and Kiaan Kher; and several nieces and nephews.
