Randy Still

Randy Still, 77, of Rossville, passed away on Saturday, November 24th, following an extended illness. 

Randy was born in Geraldine, Alabama and was the only child of Hubert and Dema Crow Still.  Randy lived most of his life in the Rossville and Ringgold areas.  He graduated from Rossville High School in 1958 where he was a proud member of the Rossville High Marching Band.  Randy owned and operated restaurants in the Chattanooga area from 1982 until his retirement in 2006 including Cragsmere Mana Restaurant in Mentone, AL, Park Place Restaurant in Downtown Chattanooga and Hour Place Restaurant across from Erlanger Hospital. Randy was a member and past officer of The Chattanooga Chef's Association.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Carolyn Bowman Still.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ann (Annie) Ellis Still, Son, Andy Still; daughter, Martha Still; godson, Bradley Witzel; step-sister, Cathy Dawn; sister-in-laws, Deb Ellis and Terrie Ellis;  brother-in-law, David Smith; special care givers and nephews,  Will Skiles and Caleb Henry.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  He cherished his many special cousins and loved spending time with them.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at National Healthcare-Rossville for the kindness and care given to Randy during the last three years.  They would also like to recognize Chattanooga Hospice for the special help given during recent months.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27th from 2:00 to 3:30pm at The Colonnade Center, 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to one of Randy's favorite charities, The Catoosa County Animal Shelter or American Diabetes Foundation.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
