Reverend Randall "Randy" Swaggerty

Rev. Randall Swaggerty, 56 of Sequatchie, Tennessee formally of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

He was a minister of the New Life Church of God in Dade County. Randall enjoyed writing songs, sang gospel music and was an avid drum player.  Anyone who knew Randall knew he was a true servant of God, loved serving his Lord and treasured time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Glenn Swaggerty; grandparents, Henry and Evelyn Swaggerty, Carl & Carrie Morgan; and brother-in-law, C.L. Fitzsimmons.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lynn Newman-Swaggerty; son, Caden Newman; mother, Geneva Swaggerty; brother, Pastor Steve Swaggerty; sister, Kimberly Fitzsimmons; nieces, Dana (Mario) Prince and Carrie (Matthew) Rigdon; several great nieces and newphews.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic there will be a private burial at Tennessee –Georgia Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lane Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses at P.O. Box 518 Rossville, GA 30741.
