Ricardo "Rick" Karl David

Ricardo “Rick” Karl David, 63 of Flintstone, GA passed away Sunday, July 25th, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Rick was born in Munich, Germany and spent many years traveling back and forth between Germany and Clarksville, TN which made him fluent in both German and English. He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired after 16 years of dedicated service. Rick then went to work for the Kansas City Southern Railroad and retired after 13 years of service. He raised three children in O’Fallon, IL and enjoyed his season tickets with the Cardinals. Rick was born and raised Catholic, he loved the Lord, and enjoyed volunteering with his wife in the Nazarene Church kitchens they attended. He loved to make jokes, was a great cook, and made an impression of everyone he met. Rick was a joy to be around and will be greatly missed.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Elmero and Giesela David; father-in-law, Raymond Morrow; and best friends, Terry and Lillian Antkowiak.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Terri David; children: Christina Brakebill, Jeremy David (Sara McWhorter), and Sara David; grandchildren: Nolan, Millie, and Marty David; siblings: Elmero (Debra) David, Jr., Connie (Mike) Tanner, Rob David; best friends beloved children: Jeni (Johnny) Grunzinger, Angie Antkowiak, and Shawn (Rikki) Antkowiak; brother-in-law, John Morrow; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many church friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 30th, 2021 at 12pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Hunter Cummings officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
