Richard E. Parker

Mr. Richard E. Parker, 68, of Rossville, GA passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022.  Richard was born on September 11, 1954 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Mr. Marion Parker and Mrs. Betty Parker.

Richard was a devoted husband, loving father, wonderful grandfather and friend.  He loved to fish, The Georgia Bulldogs, and most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, sister, mother and father-in-law, Yvonne and Bill Wooten, brother-in-law, Billy Wooten, and sister-in-law, Robin Hood.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Connie Wooten Parker, son, Jake (Leila) Parker, daughter Alexandra (John) Phillips, and grandchildren, Ethan, Landry, and Ryan Parker.  Many dear friends also survive to cherish Richard’s memory.

A graveside service for Richard will be conducted at Lakewood Memory Gardens South Mausoleum on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 1:30 in the afternoon.
