Rickey “Big Rick” Hartline, Sr., 56 of Wildwood, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 in a local hospital.
Rickey was born in Chattanooga and raised in the North Georgia area where he attended North West Georgia Computational High School in Dade Co. He owned and operated his own trucking business for many years before working as a mechanic. Rickey could fix anything with a motor and was always “tinkering” in his work shop. He loved to go fishing with his wife, Wendy, and grandchildren. Rickey was a wonderful story teller and a good man who will be dearly missed.
Rickey was preceded in death by his wife of 10 years, Wendy Hartline; son, Anthony Farris; parents, Jimmy Hartline and Betty Medlin.
Survivors include his children: Felicia Terry, Amanda Hartline, Rickey Hartline, Jr., and Sara (Casey) Norris; step-daughter, Vanessa Wright; step-father, Allen Medlin; grandchildren: Phoenix Terry, Gage Norris, Lily Norris, Ashlyn Fox, Sidney Ferguson, and Trill, Dinero, Handsome, and Pinella Wright; sister, Angie (Jerry) Ferguson; niece, Stacy Dill; and nephew, Joey Ferguson.
