Robbie Lynn Evans, 61, an East Ridge, TN resident for three years, passed away on Friday, May 21st, 2021, at Hospice of Chattanooga from complications of lung disease.
She was born at Tri-County Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, on June 8th, 1959, and spent her first 18 years in the Chattanooga area and attended Rossville High. After years in emergency medicine, Robbie became an instructor and then started an entire private school for EMS professionals called “MedTech” which she ran for several years. In her retirement, she moved back to the Chattanooga Valley. She spent her final years hang gliding, river rafting, rooting for the Giants with her best friend, Gene, and spending time with her family and her beloved cats, Alex, Loki, and KitKat.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Evans and Catherine Holdaway, and her son, Robert. Robbie is survived by her sister, Jackie; her children, Joseph, Richard, and Madison; grandchildren Logan, Greg, Hannah, Ari, and Kristen; nieces Breanna and Mikayle; and many close friends across the country.
