Roger Welch

Roger Welch, 60, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020.  Mr. Welch was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area.  He was a 1978 graduate of East Ridge High School where he was involved in the JROTC Program.  Mr. Welch worked for ESI, Inc. in Chattanooga for twelve years, and also worked as a delivery Driver for Dixie Produce and TNT Produce.  Mr. Welch loved his family dearly.  He participated in all of his children and grandchildren’s events as they were growing up.  He was an avid bowler and played in a bowling league at Spare Time.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Loretta Welch.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah “Mornanny” Welch; children, Brandy Acuff, Joseph (Shelbie) Welch, Kyndall Welch, and Marsha Payne; brother, Danny Welch; sister, Belinda Waddell; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
