Ronald Parks, 59, of Chickamauga, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in a local hospital.

Mr. Parks was born in Ringgold, Georgia on December 10, 1958 to the late James and Myrtle Parks and has been a life-long resident of the North Georgia area. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working on cabinets and playing darts. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Lamar Parks, one sister, Janie Chard and daughter, Angela Michelle Nennessee.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Parks, daughters, Jennifer Webber and JoAnn Sims, grandsons, Gabriel and Zachariah Sims and two sisters, Linda (Larry) Templeton and Sherry (Harold) Peters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the South Crest Chapel with Larry Templeton officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
