Ronald Lee Raines

Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Raines, 67, of the Lakeview Community passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at his home.  He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.  Ronnie was a painter by trade and was well-known for his paint/auto body work on cars in Lakeview.  He loved spending time in the outdoors, working on cars, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Billy Raines; step-father, Lawrence Haney; uncle, Fred Standridge; and three aunts, Martha Brazier, Rosa Walker, and Betty Owens.

Survivors include his mother, Ada Haney; sister, Melissa (Clinton) Noblitt; uncle, Gordon Raines; several nieces; and a great niece and a great nephew.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Paul Wheeler officiating.  Livestreaming of Mr. Raines funeral will be available on the funeral home website.

Interment will follow in the Lakewood East Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9p.m. and Friday from 12noon until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
