July 4, 1986 ~ August 29, 2023 (age 37) 37 Years Old
Ryan W. Blaylock, 37, of Ringgold passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at a local hospital. Ryan had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. He was a 2005 graduate of East Ridge High School where he wrestled and played football. Ryan was an electrician by trade, and he loved his brotherhood with the IBEW Local 175. Ryan treasured being a father and his family meant more to him than anything. He was the fun and crazy uncle to his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to the lake, hunting, and fishing. Ryan was a hard worker, he had a generous heart, and was willing to sacrifice for others. He loved to have fun, he was a prankster, he never turned down a dare, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Ryan will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eldon and Glenda Blaylock.
He is survived by his daughter, Kiyah Blaylock; fiance’, Jennifer and bonus children; mother, Lola (Austin) Kirk; sister, Kristin (Kevin) Haygood; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Abigail, Jacob, Olivia, and baby “Turnip Head”; father, Kenneth (Cathy) Blaylock; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ryan will be laid to rest at TN-GA Memorial Park.
The family will be hosting a public Celebration of Life on Tuesday, September 5th at Calvary Chapel, 3415 Broad Street, Chattanooga, TN. 37409 at 6:30pm. .
Ryan’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 6th from 3pm until 6pm at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory.
There will also be a memorial service following visitation on Wednesday, September 6th at 6:00pm in the Lane South Crest Chapel.
