Sam Harris

Sam Harris, 81 of Rossville, passed away Friday November 29th, 2019 at his home.

Sam was a lifelong resident of Rossville. He enjoyed watching Alabama football and watching his grandson play sports. Sam never met a stranger and was often seen enjoying his rocking chair on his front porch.

Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Rice Harris; parents, Jesse James and Levecha Sims Harris; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survivors include his children, Randy (Michele) Harris and Cheryl Ann (Jason) Standridge; grandson, Noah Austin Randall Harris; two sisters, Geneva Phillips and Sally McGill; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2nd at 2pm in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend John Rouse officiating.
