Sara Lynn (Stroup) Forrister

Sara Forrister, 62, of Rossville passed away, November 28, 2022, at a local hospital.  Sara was a native of the Cedartown and Rome area and had lived in Rossville for the past 13 years.  She was a member of the Battlefield Ministries.  Sara loved her family dearly.  She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and playing video games with her grandsons.  Sara was known for being headstrong and also as being the one who would do anything for you.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Evelyn Stroup; three sisters, Mary Reed, Linda Nehrbass, and Carol Burnley; and one brother, Randall Stroup.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Lilly; companion, Scotty Pickel; seven grandchildren, Adam Lilly, Alex Lilly, Harley Neely, Andrew Neely, Easton Neely, Keanu Lilly, and Whitney Wiggins; two great grandchildren, Karter Stephens and Emmett Stephens, and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
