Scarlett D. Evans Brown, 71 of Decatur, Alabama formally of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
She attended Rossville High School and retired from Prestige Mills. Scarlett enjoyed sewing, working in her yard, loved her animals and treasured her time with her family. She was affectionately know to her grandchildren as Meme.
Scarlett was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Warren Ware; parents, Jack & Vergie Evans; brother, Michael Evans and father-in-law, Bill Warren.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, David Brown; son, Ronald Warren, sisters, Patricia Stovall, Marilyn (Danny) Seay, Deborah Pullen and Angela (Ed) Butler; brothers, David (Teresa) Evans, Harley (Sara) Evans, Mark (Vicky) Evans; grandchildren, Christopher (April) Little, Tiffany (Jeffery) Dodd, John Brandon (Courtney) Ware; great-grandchildren, Kristen Little, Camden Ware, Briggs Dodd, Scarlett Dodd and prior mother-in-law, Maxine Warren.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Minister, Michael Lindon officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South where she will be buried beside her daughter Carla.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 16, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
